Eligibility Criteria for Admission in DTU

Educational Qualification

• The candidates should have passed the State Board Diploma Examination in engineering of 3-year duration in any corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/three years) of 55% (45% for SC/ST candidate).
• The candidates should have served for a period of not less than 1 year as on 1st day of September, 2012 in an established engineering works/organization, located in the NCT of Delhi and contiguous industrial areas shall be eligible to appear in the entrance examination.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Entrance Test

How to Apply for Admission in DTU

The candidates can avail the bulletin of information containing details of the admission procedure, application form and syllabi of the BTech (Evening) entrance examination by hand from: BTech (Evening) office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, on all working days (Monday to Saturday)

If the candidates want to get the same by post, they can send their request to The Deputy Co-ordinator (Admn.), BTech (Evening) Office, Room No. FW1-FF4, Electrical Engineering Department, Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Bawana Road, Delhi-110042 enclosing the herewith a self addressed envelope (25cm X 18cm) and a crossed Bank Draft/ Pay Order

Application Fee: Rs 1000 (By hand); Rs 1100 (by post) in the form crossed Bank Draft/ Pay Order in favour of The Co-ordinator, BTech (Evening) Entrance Examination-2012 payable at Delhi issued from State Bank of India only

The completed Application Form should reach the Deputy, Co-ordinator (Admn.) either in person or by post latest by the last date
