Department of School Education Haryana Recruitment of Special Educator 2011

Department of School Education Haryana invites application through registered post for recruitment of Special Educators/ Resource Teachers across the State on contract basis on the prescribed application form. The candidates are advised to strictly use this format of the application form.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with 2 years Diploma in Special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/ institution. OR Post Graduate in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) OR B.Ed. (General) with 2 years Diploma in Special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution OR Post Graduate in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and diploma in special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.
• Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard
• All qualifications in special education should be recognized from RCI (Rehabilitation council of India) institutions

Desirable Qualification: Teacher with qualifications in single disability area will be encouraged to specialize in other disability areas to take care of wide range of diversities in a general school. Knowledge of computer is a must.

Age Limit (as on 1 July 2011): Minimum 17 years; Maximum 40 years

Emoluments: Rs 18000 (consolidated salary) per month for those having B.Ed. Special Education or equivalent and Rs 15000 (consolidated salary) per month for those having diploma in special education.
