Directorate of Education, Kavaratti invites applications from the eligible local candidates for fill up the following posts of “Teachers” on Contract Basis. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 09 May 2014.

Language Teacher (Hind): 19 (Nineteen)
Music Teacher: 10 (Ten).
Drawing Teacher: 29 (Twenty Nine).
Educational Qualification
- For Post 1
(i) Senior Secondary (Class 12th) Pass certificate or its equivalent from a recognised Board/ University.
(ii) Pass in the Hindi Vidwan/ Madhyama Visharad/ Praveen Courses or any other equivalent recognised courses from a recognised Central/ State Board/ University/ Institution. OR
(iii) B.A. (Hindi) and B. Ed. (Hindi) from a recognised Board/ University.
- For Post 2
(i) Degree in Music from a recognised University with 04 years course in Music with experience in Instrumental and Vocal Music. OR
(ii) SSLC with Diploma from a recognised Music Academy with experience in Instrumental and Vocal Music.
- For Post 3
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting from an Institution recognised by the Central/ State Govt.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Age limit and relaxation for the candidate should as per rules.
Pay Scale/ Salary
The candidate will get Consolidated Remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- Per Month.
Selection Procedure
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
