Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualifications
- For TGTs in teaching subjects: Graduation (in the teaching subject) with Diploma in Elementary Education/ Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/ B.Ed. (Special Education) OR Sr. Secondary or equivalent with Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 4-years B.A./B.Sc./ B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. AND qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government.
- For Computer Teacher: BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) and PGDCA/ MCA.
- For Music Teacher: BA with Music as one of the subject or higher secondary with Sangeet Visharad of the Gandharav Mahavidhayala Mandal,Bombay/ Bharatkhande Sangeet Vidhyapeeth, Lucknow OR Sangeet Vid Exam of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwa Vidhyala Khairabad (M.P.) OR Sangeet Prabhakar Exam of the Prayag Sangeet Samiti, ALD OR Final exam of the Madhya Sangeet Mahavidhyalaya, Laishkar, Gwalior/ Shankar Gandharva Vidhayalay, Gwalior OR Sangeet Ratan diploma Awarded by the Director , Department of Education, M.P.
- For PRTs: Senior Secondary or equivalent with 2-years Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4-years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EL.Ed.)/ 2-years Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation with 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education AND qualified the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government.
Age limit: between 18 years and 65 years (as on 01 July 2015)
Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates would be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview to be held at the DLW Inter College, Varanasi from 1000 hours on 29 June 2015 (for TGT- Maths/ Biology/ Sanskrit), on 30 June 2015 ( for TGT- Hindi/ Music/ English/ Spoken English) and on 01 July 2015 for PRTs.
