DRDO Notified Recruitment for 105 Various Scientist Posts 2014

Ministry Of Defence, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) invited applications for Recruitment of 105 various Scientist posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. DRDO is an agency of the Republic of India, responsible for the development of technology for use by the military. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production with the Defence Science Organisation. Main work of DRDO is to develop new techniques for the use of Indian military so that they could be ready for any situation or war by having new technologies.

• Scientist 'B': Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + 5,400 G.P
• Scientist 'C': Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + 6,600 G.P
• Scientist 'D': Rs.15,600 - 39,100 + 7,600 G.P
• Scientist 'E': Rs.37,400 - 67,000 + 8,700 G.P
• Scientist 'F': Rs.37,400 - 67,000 + 8,900 G.P

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned discipline.

Age limit

• Scientist 'B': Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 28 years as on closing date of advertisement.
• Scientist 'C': Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 35 years as on closing date of advertisement.
• Scientist 'D': Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 45 years as on closing date of advertisement.
• Scientist 'E': Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 45 years as on closing date of advertisement.
• Scientist 'F': Candidate’s upper age limit should not exceed 50 years as on closing date of advertisement.

Application Fee

• Candidate must pay the fee of Rs.50/- by online.
• SC/ST/PH/Woman candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of performance in interview.

• Candidates are required to apply on line through RAC website: http://rac.gov.in within 20 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
• After submission of the online application, candidates working in Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertaking, Autonomous Organisations/Armed Forces (including Departmental candidates) should forward their applications accompanied with NOC issued by the Cadre Controlling Authority who is competent to relieve the applicant in case of selection in DRDO to Director, Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC), Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054 within 45 days of the closing date of application.
