DU Cut-off 2016: Likely to be declared on 30 June, Fate of 2.5 lakh applicants to be decided

The important phase of DU admission 2016 is arriving soon! Delhi University is most likely to release the DU first cut-off list on 30 June 2016. Students who have registered for the UG courses at DU can check the first DU cut off list 2016 at du.ac.in.

The declaration of the first cut off is going to decide the fate of the 2.5 lakh applicants. This will put an end to the long wait of all the 2.5 lakh applicants. The first cut off will declare the first list of candidates who would bag the seat in the premiere University.

While students are all excited for the cut off list to be declared, but still the fear is hovering about the high cut off that is expected for this year. This may prohibit some students to take admission in their preferred college and/ or course. A much higher cut off is expected due to the soaring number of applications received against 54000 UG seats. The varsity received near about 2.5 lakh applications this year.

Post declaration, the DU cut off list will be available at the official portal. Candidates are required to check the cut off list and get prepared for the admission process, if selected. The varsity had implemented certain new norms this year for the UG course admission. The entire admission process was made online. Centralised trials were made for Sports and ECA quota candidates. Separate cut off list was proposed to be declared for Kashmiri migrants. This year the varsity is going to announce only 5 cut off lists; the rest cut offs will be declared in the month of July.
