Management Aptitude Test or MAT is a national level test conducted by AIMA to facilitate various B-Schools -- national or international - screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs. Any B-School can consider MAT scores for offering admission to the candidates. Over 600 Business Schools across the country use MAT scores as a base for selection of candidates.
All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the Multiple Choice Objective Type test 4 times in a year -- in February, May, September and December. The test is designed to measure person’s general aptitudes in Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning and Indian & Global Environment.
AIMA announced the schedule for the fourth (last) MAT exam for the year 2013. The exam will be held in the month of December 2013. Interested candidates can register for the exam till 16 November 2013.
MAT is conducted in both -- paper mode and computer mode. While the paper based test will be held on 1 December 2013 between 1000 hours and 1230 hours, the computer based test will be conducted from 7 December 2013 onwards in different time slots.
However, if the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited and can be accommodated in a single day, the test will be completed on 7 December 2013 only.
Eligibility: Any graduate interested in appearing in the examination can register online through AIMA website till 16 November 2013.
Final year students of graduate courses can also apply for the examination.
