Employees’ State Insurance Corporation invited applications for recruitment to the post of Social Security Officers (SSOs). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 20 February 2014.
The promulgation of Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. The ESI Act 1948 encompasses certain health related eventualities that the workers are generally exposed to; such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent disablement, Occupational disease or death due to employment injury, resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity-total or partial.

Age limit
Candidate’ age should be between 21 to 27 years as on 20 February 2014.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification
Candidates should posses Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to the graduates in Commerce or Law or Management.
Candidates should have Working knowledge of computer including use of office suites and database.
Application Fee
General& OBC candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.275/-through online payment mode.
SC/ST/PWD/ ESIC Employees, Female Candidates & Ex Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600/-
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Examination, Computer Skill Test, Short Descriptive Test and Interview.
