Any PG degree with 55% marks with a proven experience of 5 years in cinema and other visual media industries

Translation Studies

MA degree with minimum 55% in any subject including languages

Cultural Studies

MA in Cultural Studies/English/Humanities/Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks

English Language Education

MA in TESL/MA English (TESL)/MA English with at least one course in the area of ELT (with 55% or equivalent as per the EFL University grading system norms

A pass in Semester 1 of PGDTE (or an equivalent) with a GPA of 3.00 without an E grade

English Literature

MA in English with at least a high second class (55%)

OR

MA degree in a subject that falls under the broad area of Humanities and Social Sciences with a strong interest in and commitment to the research areas pursued at the EFL University and have

Linguistics and Phonetics

MA in Linguistics/Phonetics/Applied Linguistics

OR

MA or M Phil in English (with specialization in Linguistics and Phonetics) with at least GPA of 3.50 or 55% marks

OR

PGCTE/DTE (with adequate background in Linguistics and Phonetics) with at least GPA of 3.00

Arabic Literature/Language and Linguistics

MA/MOL in Arabic, with 60% marks or equivalent grade

OR

MA/MOL in Arabic, with minimum second class grade B average and a PGCT/PGDT in the language concerned with at least an overall grade C

OR

MLitt/M Phil or an equivalent qualification in the language concerned

MA/MOL in Arabic, with a minimum of 7 year’s experience in teaching the language concerned at a recognized institution

Russian Studies- Language/Literature

MA in Russian with 60% marks or equivalent grade

OR

MA in Russian with Grade B average and a PGCT/PGDT in Russian with minimum overall grade C

OR

MLitt/ M Phil or an equivalent qualification in Russian

OR

MA in Russian with at least 7 year’s experience in teaching the language Russian at a recognized institution

Hindi

MA Hindi (should have studied MA Hindi for four semesters; or two years in the year-wise scheme) with at least 55% marks

MPhil Hindi with at least 55% marks in MA Hindi
