Now, is the tme of smartphones. Every individual prefers having a smartphone. With this kind of increase in the number of smartphone users, it was bound to happen that products and features have been made keeping smartphones in mind.

Impact on Media Industry: As more people discover news through search engines and social media rather than the front page of a news website, it is getting difficult for news website to cope up but it has been used to their advantage which is by bringing Apps. Only the most loyal smartphone users are using news apps, as others rely on social media, messaging apps, email and mobile notifications to read online news.

Research has shown that four in 10 smartphone customers use Facebook to find, read, watch, share and comment on the news each week. Thats why every business holder has a Facebook page and uses Facebook page to ake initial fan base.

Smartphone users become increasingly dissatisfied with pop-up advertisements and banners. Thye say that these banners and pop ups hinder their attention span. Companies are increasingly making mobile friendly content. Google has also started giving ratings to content websites and mentions whether they are mobile friendly or not.
