ESIC Haryana Notified UDC & MTS Vacancies Under MSP quota

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Haryana, under Union Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India invited application for recruitment as Upper Division Clerk/Multi Tasking Staff (UDC/MTS) of Meritorious Sports Persons (MSP). It is for the discipline of Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis to various posts under the Meritorious Sports Person (MSP) Quota.

Last date for receipt of application: 31 October 2012

                           07 November 2012 [for residents of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahul & Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshsdweep]  

Age Limit (as on 31 October 2012):

Maximum:    for UDC: 27 years;
                   for MTS: 25 years

Upper age limit relaxed by 10 yrs for SC/ST, 8 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for sports person.

Pay Scale:

for UDC: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400
for MTS: PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.1800

Educational Qualification:

for UDC: Degree from a recognized University or Equivalent
        Working knowledge of computer, including use of Office Suites and databases
for MTS: Matriculation or Equivalent

Sports Qualification:

Candidate should have represented the country in an International competition/State in a National  Competition / University in an inter-University competition with distinction/State schools in National Sports/games of Schools.

Application Fee:  

For UDC: A Non refundable Application Fee of Rs.225 has to be paid through Demand Draft / Bankers’ Cheque drawn in favour of “The Regional Director, E.S.I. Corporation, Faridabad” payable at  Faridabad from any scheduled bank.
For MTS: A Non refundable Application Fee of Rs.125 has to be paid through Demand Draft / Bankers’ Cheque drawn in favour of “The Regional Director, E.S.I. Corporation, Faridabad” payable at  Faridabad from any scheduled bank.

Selection Procedure:

Selection will be made on the basis of the guidelines/instructions issued by Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India.
Selected candidates on appointment will be on Probation for a period of two years. During Probation, candidates selected to the post of Upper Division Clerk shall be required to pass Computer Skill Test.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates can send their application in the prescribed format along with the fee DD and copies of other required documents by Speed / Registered post to “The Regional Office, Employees' State Insurance Corporation, Panchdeep Bhavan, Sector 16, Faridabad-121002, Haryana” so as to reach the office on or before the last date. The Envelope containing the application should be super scribed “Application for the post of UDC /MTS under MSP Quota mentioning discipline of sports/games”, as the case may be.

•    A candidate should submit one application for one post only. Submission of more than one application for the same post shall  lead to rejection of all the applications submitted.
