Gujarat Power Engineering and Research Institute, Mehsana invites applications from the eligible candidates fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned posts required for UG & Proposed PG Courses. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 25 May 2014.

Details of Posts

Professor: 05 (Five).      

Associate Professor: 08 (Eight)

Assistant Professor : 07 (Seven)

Training & Placement Officer: 01 (One).

Note:  Departments for which posts are required Civil Engg., Computer Engg., Electrical Engg., Mechanical Engg. And Mathematics.

Educational Qualification / Experience

(i) The qualifications for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor shall be as per AICTE/ GTU norms respectively.

(ii) Lecturer shall be M.E or M.Tech.

(iii) First Class Bachelor Degree in any branch of Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with first class Master Degree in Business Administrative from a recognized university or equivalent and must possess the minimum experience of 3 to 5 years (for post 4).

Age Limit & Relaxation 

Age limit & Relaxation for the candidate should be as per rules.

Pay Scale/ Salary  

• The pay scale shall be as per 6th Pay commission and AICTE/GTU norms respectively.
• In case of unavailability of Professor and Associated Professor, the applicants of Assistant Professor may be offered contractual Lecturer positions with fixed salary of Rs. 40,000/- Per Month.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.
