Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi under University School of Environment Management issued notification inviting applications for filling up 3 time bound posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF – 2 posts) and Field Assistant (FA – 1 post) for a Ministry of Environment  Forests, National Natural Resources Management System (MoEF – NNRMS) funded Research Project. Total Vacancies: 3 posts

Project title: ‘An Ecosystem Approach for Management of Bhindawas and Khaparwas Wetlands, Haryana using Geospatial Techniques’

Project Duration: 3 years

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) - 2 posts

Qualification: M.Sc. / M. Tech. in GIS & Remote Sensing / Geography / Environmental Studies / Environmental Management / Biodiversity & Conservation / Wildlife / Natural Resource Management / Zoology / Botany / any other area of Life Science with NET qualification.

Remuneration:

For candidate with M.Sc. & NET / M. Tech. Professional qualification: Rs. 16000 per month [for first two years] / Rs. 18000 per month [for third year]

For candidate with M.Sc. & NET qualification for LS: Rs. 12000 per month [for first two years] / Rs. 14000 per month [for third year]

2. Field Assistant (FA) – 1 post

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in any area of Life Sciences.

Remuneration: Rs. 8000 per month [Consolidated]

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Interview.

Only short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview.
