High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi issued notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for filling up the vacancies (existing as well as possible vacancies as may occur in future)to the post of Hindi Typist in Civil Courts on temporary basis. Interested candidates should send their applications on or before 28 February 2014.

1. Hindi Typist in Civil Courts:
Pay Scale:Pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs. 2400
Eligibility criteria: Candidates must be a Graduate
Candidates must have the typing speed 25words per minute in Hindi.
Age limit: (as on 1 February 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 35 years
[Maximum age limit for E.B.C./M.B.C.(Schedule-I) and B.C. (Schedule-II) category candidates is 37 years, for female candidates is 38 years and is 40 years for S.T. / S.C. category candidates]
[NOTE: Reserved Category Candidates of the other Statesshall be treated as GeneralCategory candidate].
SelectionProcedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Skill test, Personality Test and interview.
The Skill Test of the candidates would be taken first. Only those candidates, who qualify the Skill Test,will be allowed to appear in the Personality Test and interview.
Final Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Skill Test and in thePersonality Test and interview.
Admit Cards indicating the date of examination and venue will be forwarded tothe candidates individually by post.
Examination fees: Non-refundable examination fee is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft or Postal Order of Rs. 400(for Generalcategory, E.B.C./M.B.C. (Scheduled I) B.C. (Scheduled II) category candidates) / Rs. 125 (for S.C. and S.T. category candidates) drawn in favour of ‘Registrar General, High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi’ payable at Ranchi.
Candidates should mention their name and address on the back of theDemand Draft.
How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their application, in the prescribed format, along with fee DD in original, one recent passport size photograph, one self-addressed unstamped envelopeand attested copies of required certificates / testimonials by Registered Posts / Speed Posts to ‘The Registrar General, Jharkhand High Court, Ranchi’ so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 28 February 2014.
On the envelope containing the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post ofHindi Typist” .
Candidates should send only one application in an envelope.
