Eligibility Criteria for Faculty, Nursing & Other Posts

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Pathology (Professor& Assistant Professor) – M.D. (Pathology) / Ph.D (Pathology)/D.Sc. (Pathology). Experience: (i) As Associate Professor in Pathology for three years in the recognized medical college. (ii)Minimum of five research publications in indexed/ national journals as the First Author, out of which minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor. Assistant Professor: M.D. (Pathology). Experience: Three years post PG experience as SR/Demonstrator. Minimum of two research publications in an indexed /peer reviewed journal of national/international repute.
• Microbiology (Professor / Associate Professor) – M.D.(Bacteriology)/ M.D.(Microbiology)/ MBBS with M.Sc.(Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc. (Med. Microbiology) with Ph.D.(Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc.(Med. Bact.) with Ph.D.(Med. Bacteriology)/M.Sc.(Med. Bacteriology)with D.Sc.(Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc. (Med. Microbiology) with Ph. D.(Med. Microbiology)/ M.Sc.(Med. Microbiology) with D. Sc.(Med. Microbiology). Experience for Professor: (i) As Associate Professor in Microbiology for three years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of five research publications in indexed/ national journals as the First Author, out of which minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor. Experience for Associate Professor: (i) As Assistant Professor in Microbiology for four years in the recognized medical college. (ii)Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals as the First Author, out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
• Medicine (Assistant Professor) – M.D. (Medicine) M.D.(General Medicine) Experience: Three years post PG experience as SR/Demonstrator. Minimum of two research publications in an indexed /peer reviewed journal of national/international repute.
• Dermatology (Professor / Associate Professor) – M.D.(Derm.&Ven.) M.D.(Derm. Ven. & Leprosy)/ M.D. (Dermatology)/ M.D. (Derm. Including Ven.)/ M.D.(Derm. including Ven./Lep) M.D.(Medicine) with D.V.D. or D.D. Experience for Professor: (i) As Associate Professor in Dermatology and Venereology/ Leprosy for three years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of five research publications in indexed/ national journals as the First Author, out of which minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor. Experience for Associate Professor: (i) As Assistant Professor in Dermatology and Venereology/Leprosy for four years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals as the First Author, out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
• Pediatrics (Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) – Associate Professor Qualification: M.D. (Paediatrics) Experience:(i) As Assistant Professor in Paediatrics for four years in the recognized medical college. (ii)Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals as the First Author, out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor. Assistant Professor Qualification: M.D. (Paediatrics) Experience: Three years post PG experience as SR/Demonstrator. Minimum of two research publications in an indexed /peer reviewed journal of national/international repute.
• Anesthesia (Professor& Associate Professor) – Professor Qualification: M.D. (Anaesthesiology)/ M.S. (Anaesthesiology) Experience: (i) As Associate Professor in Anaesthesiology for three years in the recognized medical college. (ii)Minimum of five research publications in indexed/ national journals as the First Author, out of which minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor. Associate Professor Qualification: M.D. (Anaesthesiology)/ M.S. (Anaesthesiology) Experience: (i) As Assistant Professor in Anaesthesiology for four years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journal as the First Author, out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
• Radio-Diagnosis (Professor/ Associate Professor) – Professor / Associate Professor Qualification: M.D. (Radio-Diagnosis)/ M.D. (Radiology/ M.S. (Radiology) Experience for Professor: (i) As Associate Professor in Radio-Diagnosis/Radiology for three years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of five research publications in indexed/ national journals as the First Author, out of which minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Associate Professor. Experience for Associate Professor: (i) As Assistant Professor in Radio-Diagnosis/Radiology for four years in the recognized medical college. (ii) Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals as the First Author, out of which 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
• Community Medicine [Assistant Professor (Biostatistics) & Demonstrator (Biostatistics)]- Assistant Professor (Biostatistics) Qualification:M.Sc. (Statistics) with Ph.D. Demonstrator (Biostatistics) Qualification: M.Sc. (Statistics).
• Dy. Nursing Superintendent – 1. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwife. 2. Diploma in Nursing Education and Administration/B.Sc. or Post-Basic Degree in Nursing. 3. Five years experience as Assistant Nursing Superintendent.
• Dy. Medical Superintendent – 1. MBBS. 2. MD Hospital Administration.
• Sr. Resident (Medicine, Surgery, Anaesthesia & Radio – Diagnosis) – MD/MS OR DNB/Diploma in respective specialty with one year experience.
• Casualty Medical Officer – 1. MBBS. 2. 1 year experience as Junior Resident in clinical specialty.
