How to apply for XAT 2014 examination?

Xavier Aptitude Test is set to be conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI on 5 January 2014 this year. Read to know the XAT 2014 Application procedure here.

Candidates willing to apply for XAT 2014 exam can do so by logging on to XAT website.

Candidates should fill in their preliminary information on the "XAT Registration" page, enter a password of their choice and submit it. On successful submission of the details, candidates will receive a confirmation mail with XAT ID on the e-mail ID mentioned in the registration form.

(Candidates will be required to use this XAT ID and password to log-in to their XAT account. Besides, in all future correspondence with XAT office, candidates will be required to quote their XAT ID.)

After receipt of the mail, candidates should Login to their XAT account using the ID and password, fill in the remaining details, choose the test city, pay the required fees (if the fees is to paid using credit / debit card / net banking facility) / fill in fee payment details, upload scanned Photograph and Signature and submit the form.

On successful submission, a confirmation page will be generated by the system. Candidates should take a print-out of the confirmation page for future reference.

How to pay he Application fee: Non-refundable application fees of Rs. 950 (for General / OBC category candidates) / Rs. 650 (For SC / ST category candidates) for XAT 2014 exam have to be paid by either of the three modes:

Mode 1: through Online Payment Gateway: using VISA / Master Credit / Debit Cards OR through IDBI Net banking (this option is available only for IDBI account holders.)

(American Express Card is inadmissible)

Mode 2: by Cash Payment: Candidates should take a print out of the XAT Pay-In-Slip, visit the nearest IDBI bank and deposit the required amount.

Mode 3: through Demand Draft: Crossed demand draft for the required amount should be drawn in favour of “XLRI Jamshedpur A/c XAT” payable at Jamshedpur.

Important: Candidates paying fees through Mode 2 & Mode 3 should update the payment details in the registration page failing which their registration will be considered incomplete and they will not be allowed to appear in the XAT 2014 exam.

Besides, these candidates are required to send their DD or Pay-in-slip along with the print-out of the  confirmation page to ‘XAT office, XLRI, Circuit House Area (East), Jamshedpur- 831001’ so as to reach their within fifteen days from the date of payment or issuance of DD.

Candidates paying fees through IDBI internet banking or using credit / debit cards are not required to send the Confirmation page to XAT Office.
