HP TET 2024 (November) Notification Out: Apply Online for TGT, TET and Various Posts, Check Exam Schedule

HP TET 2024 Notification: Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has uploaded the notification for TGT, TET and Various (through Teacher Eligibility Test HP TET November 2024) on its official website. Written exam for Teacher Eligibility Test HP TET November 2024 session will be conducted for subject/posts wise vacancy will be conducted on November 15, 17, 24 and 26, 2024 across the state. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before October 18, 2024. 

Candidates having certain educational qualifications have a golden chance to apply for these posts including Junior Basic Training (JBT),Language Teacher,Punjabi Language Teacher, Urdu Language Teacher,TET Shastri and others.

HP TET 2024 Important Date

The online application process for the Teacher Eligibility Test HP TET November 2024 is under way and you can follow the schedule given below.
Submission of online Application Starts September 28, 2024
Last date for submission of Application/ Payment : October 18, 2024
Submission of Online Application with a Late Fee of Rs.600: October 21, 2024
Period for online corrections in all fields except Category/Subcategory: October 22 to 24, 2024

HP TET 2024 Vacancy Details

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) will be conducted for teaching subjects / categories as directed in the notification. You can check the post/subject wise details given below-
(i) TGT(Arts)
(ii) TGT(NM)
(iii) TGT(Medical)
(iv) JBT
(v) Shastri
(vi) Language Teacher
(vii) Punjabi
(viii) Urdu.

HP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

TGT(Arts): B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in
Graduation or in Post-Graduation and 1-year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) OR
b. B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and 2-years Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) OR
c. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.) OR
d. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed. OR
e. B.A./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) (Special Education)OR
f. B.A./B. Com/ Post Graduate from recognized university with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post-Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from NCTE recognized institution. OR
g. 4 years’ degree of B.A/B.Com. Ed. From any national council for Teacher Education recognized institution. OR
h. Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year
integrated B.Ed. M.Ed.

Exam Pattern

Selection will be done based on the performance of candidates in the written exam scheduled in the month of November 2024. There will be one question paper in four different series having questions of multiple choice/objective type, carrying 150 questions of one mark each to be attempted within 150 minutes. Candidates should note that there will be no negative marking in the written exam. The question booklet will be in bi-lingual i.n. English & Hindi
