IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2024: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment exam is scheduled to be conducted on October 19 and 20, 2024. To successfully pass the PO examination, candidates should understand the exam pattern and syllabus.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2024
The IBPS PO examination consists of three-stage selection procedures, i.e. prelims, mains and interview. The candidates who successfully clear the preliminary examination will be called for mains examination and so on. The prelims examination will consist of subjects such as quantitative aptitude, numerical ability and English language. The total marks that will be allotted to the prelims examination are 100 and the duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
The IBPS PO Prelims exam will be conducted for the duration of 60 minutes and it will contain total of 100 marks. The questions will be asked from subjects such as English language, reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude.
- Total Duration: 60 min & Total Questions: 100
- There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2024
The candidates who successfully clear the prelims examination will be called for mains examination. The duration of the online main examination is 3 hours 30 minutes and the marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interviews and also for final merit listing. The IBPS PO mains examination will consist of questions such as reasoning and computer aptitude, general economy/banking awareness, English language, data interpretation and analysis.
- Total Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes & Total Questions: 157
- Examination will be objective type and subjective type both
- There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

IBPS PO Interview 2024
The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). The weightage of the online main exam and interview will be 80:20, respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the mains examination and interview.
