Eligibility Conditions for IIT, Bombay Recruitment 2019
Educational Qualification
Assistant Professor (Grade I) – Candidates should have minimum of three years teaching / research / professional experience, excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
Assistant Professor (Grade II) – All such candidates who are found not eligible for Assistant Professor Grade I posts can be appointed as Assistant Professor Grade II.
Associate Professor – Candidates should be a minimum of six years teaching/research/professional experience of which 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade I, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer in industry or any research organization.
Professor – Candidates must have minimum of ten years research or teaching or professional experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Selection Procedure for IIT, Bombay Recruitment 2019
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their application, qualification and prior experience and performance in the interview being organized by the selection body.
