IIT Kharagpur notified Recruitment for RA & SRF posts 2014

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur invited applications for recruitment to the post of Research Associate (RA) and Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Dept of Computer Sc, & Engineering and Dept of Architecture & Regional Planning. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 10 April 2014. IIT Kharagpur is a public engineering, management and law institution established by the government of India in 1951. It was established to train scientists and engineers after India attained independence in 1947. Educational Qualification

I. Dept of Computer Sc, & Engineering 

• Research Associate (RA): Experience with Computational Linguistics or Development Anthropology or Urban Planning or Community Planning or Regional Planning background with a PhD degree.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M Tech/MSC/MCP/MA degree in Computational Linguistics or Development Anthropology or Urban Planning or Community Planning or Regional Planning or Fine and Visual Arts or Indo-European languages or Geography with overall academic record over 55% marks having NET/JRF clearance or as per specific departmental requirements.

II. Dept of Architecture & Regional Planning 

• Research Associate (RA): Experience with Development Anthropology or Architecture or Urban Planning or Community Planning or Regional Planning or Fine and Visual Arts or Art History background with a PhD degree.
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M Tech/MSC/MCP/MA degree in Development Anthropology or Architecture or Urban Planning or Community Planning or Regional Planning or Fine and Visual arts or Art History or Geography background with overall academic record over 55% marks having NET/JRF clearance or as per specific departmental requirements.

Pay Scale

• Research Associate (RA): Rs.22000/- per month (depending upon qualification & experience)
• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs.18000/- per month (depending upon qualification & experience)
