Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate, Project Officer & Job Assistant Posts

Educational Qualification

Research Associate (Ocean Engg and Naval Architecture) – Ph.D in Ocean Engineering/Physical Oceanography/Applied Mathematics
Research Associate (Mathematics)- Ph.D. (Applied Mathematics/Physics/Mechanical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering)
Project Officer/Junior Project Officer – M.Sc./ M.Tech/ ME in Geology/ Geophysics/ Remote Sensing or other equivalent with excellent academic record or publications.
Job Assistant – Bachelors degree (in any field, e.g. arts, science, commerce, engineering, etc.). A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in working in a railway engineering project. The candidate must have carried out extensive field studies (i.e. used instrumentation in the field to measure quantities such as velocity, temperature, etc.). A certificate of experience must be provided with details of work done to this end.

Age Limit

Job Assistant – 40 years
Research Associate (Mathematics)- 35 years
Project Officer/Junior Project Officer – 32 years
Research Associate (Ocean Engg and Naval Architecture)– 30 years
