IMT Ghaziabad offers two-year full-time PGDM course which is AICTE approved and AACSB accredited. The PGDM course is a residential programme which is equivalent to an MBA programme. The institute offers three specializations after the completion of first year. Candidates can choose to specialise in the following domains:

• PGDM Marketing,
• PGDM Finance, and
• PGDM-Banking, Insurance and Financial Services (PGDM-BIFS)

The PGDM is a dynamic course which offers exposure to the candidates via Summer Internship. This internship is conducted after the completion and first year and before the commencement of second year curriculum. The specialisation subjects focus on enhancing the conceptual learning. In addition, the summer internships programme is also guided by the faculty and industry mentors.

IMT Ghaziabad: PGDM (2019-21) Eligibility Criteria

Applicants interested to enrol for the two year PGDM programme are required to possess minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply, subject to submission of all mark sheets and pass certificate to IMT’s Academic Program office at a later date. Those applications who do not meet these minimum eligibility conditions can face admission cancelled at later stage.

IMT Ghaziabad: PGDM (2019-21) Admission Process

The admission process to enrol in the PGDM (2019-21) is simple. IMT Ghaziabad follows six-step admission process to make it easier for the candidates to apply for the course and thereafter get selected in the institute to pursue managerial career: 

Step 1: Register and apply for the MBA entrance exam i.e. CAT 2018 or XAT 2019. Candidates aspiring to take admission in IMT Hyderabad and IMT Nagpur can register and apply for CMAT 2019 entrance exam also. The common application form for all the 4 IMT campuses is Rs.2000/- which can be paid online of using a demand draft.

Step 2: After getting registered for the exam, applicants must also clear the IMT Ghaziabad’s admission cut-off score. Those candidates, who clear the admission cut-off and also apply for the IMT Ghaziabad’s PGDM course, are then called for the PI round.

Step 4: The Personal Interview process is generally conducted in the months of February/March and will be common for all the IMT Campuses.

Step 5: After the PI round, successful candidates receive admission offers from IMT Ghaziabad. The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes that includes performance in MBA entrance exam, performance in PI round, academics, Work Experience among others parameters.

Step 6: Final Admission Offer will be made to the candidates in the last week of April 2019 on the basis of Final Score arrived after awarding the weightage scores on all the components.

IMT Ghaziabad PGDM (2019-21): Admission shortlisting Criteria

To apply for IMT Ghaziabad’s two year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT-2018 OR XAT-2019 OR have appeared for the GMAT (January 1, 2015 – February 28, 2019). In the case of the candidates applying on the basis of GMAT and score is not provided, processing of application will be provisional, subject to IMT receiving the official GMAT score on or before March 15, 2019.

The final selection of the candidate in the PGDM (2019-21) course depends upon various factors such as:

• CAT/XAT/GMAT (best score)

• Performance in Personal Interview process on following parameters:
• Communication/Interpersonal skills
• Analytical/Problem solving skills
• Business Affairs and General Awareness
• Domain Knowledge
