Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Fellow: A First class Master’s degree m Geophysics/Applied Geophysics/ Exploration Geophysics/Geology.
2. Senior Technical Assistant: First class Master’s degree Physics/Geophysics/Geology.
3. Superintendent: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with 5 years experience in administration related work.
4. Upper Division Clerk: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with 2 years experience in administration related work.
5. Stenographer (Grade III): SSC or equivalent with typing speed of 40 w.p.m and shorthand speed of 80 w.p.m
6. Lower Division Clerk: Matriculation or equivalent qualification.

Age limit

1. Fellow: Upto 35 years
2. Senior Technical Assistant: Upto 35 years
3. Superintendent: Upto 35 years
4. Upper Division Clerk: Upto 27 years
5. Stenographer (Grade III): Upto 27 years
6. Lower Division Clerk: Upto 32 years

Pay Scale

1. Fellow: 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.5400
2. Senior Technical Assistant: 9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs.4200
3. Superintendent: 9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs.4200
4. Upper Division Clerk: 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2400
5. Stenographer (Grade III): 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2400
6. Lower Division Clerk: 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.1900
