Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology, Guwahati invites applications from the eligible candidates for fill up the following posts of “Research Associate, Traineeship and Studentship” for BIF facility, Division of Life Sciences, IASST. The post is initially for one year and may be extended depending on the performance till the tenure of the project for Research Associate. Educational Qualification/ Eligibilty Criteria
- For Post 1
(i) Ph. D in Bioinformatics or allied disciplines with knowledge of Bioinformatics. The candidates who have submitted Ph.D thesis may also apply.
(ii) Candidates having MSc in Bioinformatics or allied disciplines with sound knowledge of Bioinformatics will be preferred.
- For Post 2: Candidate with a postgraduate degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences from a recognised University.
- For Post 3: Candidate pursuing M.Sc in bioinformatics in a recognised University.
Pay Scale/ Salary
- Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- plus HRA Per Month for Ph.D candidates, Rs. 16,000/- for MSc having NET/ GATE/ SLET qualified candidate and Rs. 14,000/- for candidate with only M.Sc plus HRA Per Month for the candidates for post 1.
- Remuneration of Rs. 5,000/- Per Month for 6 months for post 2 & 3.
