IIM Rohtak 2019-21 Admission Process: 35% weightage to CAT 2018 score
IIM Rohtak has announced the admission criteria for the PGP 2019-21 batch. The admission process of IIM Rohtak comprises of two-stages. In the stage 1, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of CAT score, and the stage 2 includes Written Analysis (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). IIM Rohtak has recently announced the admission cut-off for the PGP 2019-21 programme. is a prestigious MBA institute and its admission process comprises of two-stages. In the stage 1, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT score, and the stage 2 includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection list is based on CAT Score, WAT Score, PI Score and Profile Score which includes Academic Experience, Diversity and Work Experience.
IIM Rohtak reserves the right to make modification in any part of the admission criteria including cut offs mentioned at any time till the actual admission process for the batch is completed.
IIM Rohtak: Programmes Offered
The flagship programme offered at IIM Rohtak is the 2 year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM). Besides, the institute also offers the following progarmmes at different levels:
- Executive Training (MDP)
- 2 year executive post graduate diploma in sports management
- Doctoral Programme (FPM)
- Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM)
- One Year Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (EPGPX)

IIM Rohtak: Programme-wise Eligibility Criteria
The basic requirement to become eligible for admission to IIM Rohtak’s PGPM Course is a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks. In addition, candidates should have appeared for the CAT Exam and have got the minimum percentile as per the cutoff released by the institute.
IIM Rohtak: Admission Process
The admission process of IIM Rohtak consists of 2 stages. In the 1st stage, candidates need to clear the CAT exam with a certain percentile (96%) as set by the institute. The CAT exam score carries the maximum weightage of 35%. In the 2nd stage, shortlisted candidates are required to pass the WAT and PI round. The maximum weightage given to this round is 30%. After the completion of 2nd stage, profile score of candidates are evaluated. The weightage given to profile score is 35% that includes academic qualification, work experience and diversity.
Finally, on the basis of CAT Score, WAT & PI Score and Profile Score, candidates are given admission offers for PGPM Course at IIM Rohtak.
IIM Rohtak: Admission Cutoffs
Once the CAT Result is declared, IIM Rohtak prepares a list of candidates who are then called for Personal Appearance Round that includes Written Ability Test and Personal Interview.

Gender Diversity: In order to encourage female participants, all IIMs have introduced gender diversity points for female candidates. This means, a female candidate will be given 75 points, irrespective of her academic background or any other factor.
Academic Diversity: As the gender diversity factor, IIMs have also introduced academic diversity factor. In this, a candidate Non-engineering graduate is given 75 points, irrespective of other factors. This is done to promote the diversity of academic backgrounds in IIMs.
Candidates who are amongst the top scorers in this round are called for Personal Appearance round that includes Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
IIM Rohtak: Final Admission Selection Criteria
The final admission offers are made according to the collective score in CAT (35%), Profile Score (35%) that includes Diversity, Work Experience and Academic Qualifications and WAT & PI (30%).
