Question 1: What are Scholarship scams and how can we avoid them?

Well, I believe scams are everywhere and scholarship is no different. There are a lot of people who will try to take student’s money by asking them to pay upfront. This is what we have done so far. So, every scholarship that is registered on Buddy4Study portal, it has been tested and verified by our content team. So, as a student if you are applying for a scholarship, do check the reputation of the website where you are applying. If you have any doubt, do consult with your parents, teacher or principal. Even if you don’t get the clarity, then do write a mail to Buddy4Study, we will get back to you. Also, if somebody asks money in cash, don’t give it the money in cash. It only should be in demand draft (dd) or cheque. As per as my opinion is concern, almost 98% of the scholarship provided here are genuine. At the time of applying for any scholarship be precautious and make sure you have applied for the correct scholarship.

Question 2: What are Olympiads and how can a student benefit by participating in them?

Olympiads are basically examination which is conducted by various organizations and institutions to test the knowledge of the students for subjects like Maths, Chemistry, Science and English. If I can talk about some famous Olympiad that is Indian Cyber Olympiad, Cyber Unified Olympiad, All India Maths and Science Olympiad. I believe there is a lot of motivation, once a student cracks Olympiad; it’s not matter of cash prizes, trophies, medals, certificates. But it’s a moral boost for students because he/she knows that they have proven their matter in that particular subject.

Question 3: What are the fees and expenses associated with scholarship in Olympiad?

As far as scholarship are concerned, mostly are free of cost, you do not have to pay anything. But yes for Olympiad, the scholarship provider can charge small application fees. This is generally done to discourage random application, but this scholarship fees/processing fee is very nominal. But even before paying to any scholarship provider do check the website; do consult with your parents, teacher or principal. Even if you don’t get the clarity, then do write a mail to Buddy4Study.
