Will summing up the score of practicals and theory help me pass the exam?

Q: I am weak in physics but have scored well in physics practicals. However I feel that I will not be able to fare well in the written exams. Can summing up both the score help me pass the exam or do I need to excel in them separately?

A: Yes, it is compulsory to pass theory and practical exams separately in subjects which have both theory and practical exams in Class XII.
