Eligibility Criteria for Project Linked Personnel Job
Educational Qualification and Age Limit:
- Project Linked Personnel (Project Linked Post Doctoral-Fellow-cum-Lecturer/Assistant Professor): PhD (Computer Science) with specialization in Cryptography; More than two years of research experience in a core cryptography research lab; a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout; an excellent publication track record. or PhD (Physics) with post-PhD experience in the field of quantum information/quantum computation as evident from high quality publications in refereed journals; prior experience of working in an optics based lab environment and familiarity with handling and analyzing experimental data a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with a very good academic record throughout; an excellent publication track record.
- Project Linked Personnel (Project Linked Post Doctoral Fellow): PhD (Mathematics/Computer Science/Electronics & Comm.) with specialization in Cryptography/Coding Theory; More than two years of research experience in a research lab of related field or reputed institute.
- Project Linked Personnel (Senior Research Engineer): BE/B.Tech or equivalent (10+2+4) in Computer Science, M.E./ M.Tech. in Computer Science, 05 years of experience in crypto/security related government projects.
- Project Linked Personnel (Junior Research Engineer or Programmer): BE/B.Tech or equivalent (10+2+4) in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent discipline. Proficiency in C programming language in Unix/Linux environment.
- Age Limit: Preferably should not exceed 35 years as on 29 August 2020.

The current bio data of the person should be addressed to Head, R C Bose Centre for Cryptology & Security, Indian Statistical Institute stating (a) Name (in block letters) (b) Mailing Address (present & permanent) (¢) E-mail Address (d) Contact No (e) Parent/ Spouse Name (1) Date of Birth (g) Academic Qualification with percentage of marks obtained in public examinations in class 10th and onwards (h) Work Experience/ Publication (i) SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled Category. The original credentials should be scanned and sent via email. Later, candidates may be asked to bring original hard-copies for verification. Candidates must attach a self-attested photo ID card in their email. Candidates applying for the post of Project Linked Personnel (equivalent to the position of Junior Research Engineer or Programmer) must accomplish a programming assignment (will be uploaded at https://www.isical.ac.in-rcbose/rec2020/ by 29 August 2020) before applying. Source code of the assignment along with resume of prescribed format must be sent to designated email addresses given above. Applications not being accompanied by source code of assignment will not be entertained.
