ISRO Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre Recruitment of Technical Assistant and Technician 2011

Indian Space Programme was institutionalized in 1969 with the formation of Indian Space Research Organisation. Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC) is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for ISRO's Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft programmes. It invites application from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Technical Assistant and Technician for its LPSC units located at Valiamala near Thiruvananthapuram, Mahendragiri near Nagercoil and Bangalore in Karnataka.

• Technical Assistant: 22 vacancies (Mechanical 11, Electronics 5, Automobile 2, Civil 1, Air Conditioning 1, Electrical 1, Computer Science 1)
• Technician ‘B': 14 vacancies (Electronic Mechanic 6, Fitter 4, Welder 1, Photographer 1, Carpenter 1, Plumber 1)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Technical Assistant: First Class Diploma in Engineering in concerned discipline from a recognized Board.
• Technician ‘B': SSLC/ SSC Pass + National Trade Certificate (NTC)/ ITI/ NAC in the concerned trade.

Pay Scale

• Technical Assistant: Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay: Rs 4600 per month
• Technician ‘B': Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs 2000 per month
