JEE Advanced 2014 Online Choice Filling started:
JEE Advanced results for the session 2014 have been declared. The online seat allotment procedure for the candidates who have qualified the exams has begun.The link for the online choice filling center will be open till 5pm, June 24, 2014. Candidates can fill as many number of choices as they want. Change of choices, addition of new choices and deleting the previous ones is permitted until they lock their preferences.
Step-1: Registration (One time only):
The candidates declared eligible for online choice-filling for various undergraduate courses in IITs and ISM Dhanbad are required to register to get a user ID, and for this they need to provide their Jee Advanced roll number. After that the candidates should enter a password and retype it to confirm. The candidates should then note down the system generated user ID and the set password. Once the candidates get the user ID, they can sign-in by providing the system generated user ID, JEE Advanced roll number and password. The candidates should follow the online instructions for the choice filling.
Step-2: Online Choice Filling:
After registration, shortlisted candidates are permitted to enter the course choices. Course choice filling is open till 5 PM on June 24, 2014. Beyond this deadline, no fresh choice-filling / modification will be permitted. Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices as they like in the order of their preference from the list of available courses with specified intake capacity. Candidates can change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final choices. Choices should be positively locked before 5 PM on June 24, 2014. If candidates fail to lock their choices by 5 PM, June 24, 2014, their choices will be automatically locked after this deadline.
NOTE: Being shortlisted for online choice filling on qualification in JEE(Advanced)-2014 does not guarantee seat allocation.
Step-3: Online Seat allocation:
Web release of 1st round of seat allocation: July 01, 2014
Web release of 2nd round of seat allocation: July 07, 2014
Web release of 3rd round of seat allocation: July 12, 2014
Step 4: Provisional admission
Candidates who are allocated a seat in a program in any IITs or ISM, will have to accept the offer:
(i) by paying the provisional admission fee online, using the link for the Electronic Payment Gateway (payment by Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards as well as payment in the nearest branch)
(ii) uploading a Declaration on Acceptance Form signed by themselves and their parents, that they are eligible for admission as per the 'top 20 percentile cut off marks of their respective Board in their respective categories for the year of passing the Qualifying Examination'
(iii) upload the scanned copy of marksheet of class XII as well.
NOTE: In case, the candidates do not pay the fees by the scheduled date, they will not be considered for future round of seat allocation.
