    Jagran Josh: What was your rank in JEE Advanced-2014? In which branch and institution you are currently studying
    Sughosh Patel: I secured 207th rank in JEE Advanced-2014 and currently studying in Computer Science & Engineering branch of IIT – Kanpur.
    Jagran Josh: What are your views on current paper pattern of JEE MAINS & Advanced-2014?
    Sughosh Patel: JEE MAIN requires proper time management, good understanding of basic concepts and good percentile in 12th. JEE Advance requires in depth knowledge of subject and good logical skills.
    Jagran Josh: What was your preparation strategy for Physics and which books did you refer for this subject?
    Sughosh Patel: Reference books: Class notes, H. C. Verma and Resnick/Halliday & Walker.
    Jagran Josh: What was your preparation strategy for Chemistry and which books did you refer for this subject?
    Sughosh Patel: Reference books: Class notes, NCERT; Inorganic Chemistry: J. D. LEE.
    Jagran Josh: What was your preparation strategy for Mathematics and which books did you refer for this subject?
    Sughosh Patel: Only class notes.
    Jagran Josh: Is coaching is necessary to crack JEE Advanced exam?
    Sughosh Patel: Coaching is not necessary but it helps a candidate in improving his/her rank by providing a proper guidance.
    Jagran Josh: Did you attend any 'mock tests'? Do you think they're necessary for the preparation of JEE MAINS & Advanced?
    Sughosh Patel: Mock tests help a candidate in understanding the exam environment and difficulty level of the questions.
    Jagran Josh: What was your strategy in answering the questions in JEE MAIN?
    Sughosh Patel: I attempted Chemistry first, Mathematics later and Physics in the last.
    Jagran Josh: Did you follow any particular strategy in answering the questions in JEE Advanced-2014?
    Sughosh Patel: I attempted questions according to its difficulty level means easier ones first and tougher ones later.
    Jagran Josh: Is there any specific observation or tips you want to give about JEE MAINS & JEE Advanced?
    Sughosh Patel: One must avoid silly mistakes, practice regularly and systematic in the studies.
