Jharkhand Board Declared Class 12 Exam Result 2012

The Jharkhand Academic Council declared its Class 12 (XII) results on 1 June 2012 at 11.30 am for Annual Intermediate Examination, Intermediate Vocational Examination and Madhyama (Sanskrit) Examination. The Jharkhand Board conducted the 12th class examination from 22 February 2012 to 17 March 2012.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was established for holding and conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate Education, Secondary Education, Sanskrit Education and Madrasa Education. Besides this, JAC also prescribes courses of studies for such examinations and recommends recognition of Intermediate Educational Institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit Schools and Madrasas to the State Government. In addition, it also carries out duties assigned to the council by the State Govt from time to time.

With the establishment of the JAC, the Bihar Intermediate Education Council Act 1992, the Bihar School Examination Board Act 1952 (adapted as Jharkhand Secondary Examination Board Act 2000) Bihar Sanskrit Education Board Act 1981 and Bihar Board of Madrasa Education Board Acts, 1981 were repealed.

The State of Jharkhand came into existence on the 15 November 2000 and Jharkhand Academic Council was established by an Act proposed by the Jharkhand State Legislature. Jharkhand Governor on 26 December 2003 then gave his consent for Jharkhand Academic Council which was known as Jharkhand Academic Council Act 2 July 2003.

Another leap forward was taken when the CBSE curriculum was introduced from the primary stage to the Intermediate stage to enable our students to partake in the main current of the national education-programme freely and naturally.
