Junaid Ahmad IAS Topper 2019 Rank 3 shares his IAS Strategy
Junaid Ahmad, a resident of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has been ranked 3rd in this year's Civil Services Examination. Junaid Ahmad got this success in the fifth attempt.
Junaid Ahmad got the IRS (Indian Revenue Service) in the last year's 352nd rank. At this time he is undergoing training as IRS in Faridabad.
Junaid Ahmad was preparing for this exam from 2014 and he was disappointed with the initial failure but never lost hope. Junaid Ahmad considers NCERT books to be the basis for the preparation of IAS.
Junaid Ahmad gave the IAS Mains with Geography optional Subject. Being Junaid's optional subject Geography, he got a lot of help for General Studies.
During the conversation with Jagranjosh, he was surprised due to the rank. He stated that the Success Mantra for the IAS Exam is the AIM. He said without Aim the life is directionless. The second most important thing is the Hard work. There is no substitute for the hard work he stated. Thirdly and most important is the way to handle the failures.
He wanted to help others in society and also he wanted to do a meaningful job. He dreams of a rewarding Job which fulfilled in the form of IAS.
His strategy was to avoid the unnecessary things to study and do not waste time on them. He specifically said that the IAS aspirant should understand what to read and what to avoid. The focused study can make the IAS preparation really easy.
Basic NCERT books form the basis for the IAS Preparation. He said the Internet is a very useful resource for the IAS Preparation. He stressed the productive use of the Internet whether it is answer writing or opinion formation, and the likes, the Internet is very useful.
He said balance is very important for the IAS Exam. A clear balance in the daily routine is very important so that an IAS aspirant can refresh his mind from time to time.
He said that it is very important to handle your failures in a constructive way. The candidates should learn from their failures which can help them in the future.
