Kandla Port Trust (KPT) invited applications for recruitment of Apprenticeship Training in the year 2014-15. The candidates eligible for the post may send their applications in the prescribed format on or before 15 August 2014.

8. Technician (Electrical): 3 posts

9. Technician (Mechanical): 3 posts

Total No. of Posts: 27 posts

Pay Scale:

• Rs.2400/- per month for Post no. 1, 2 & 4 to 7.
• Rs.2400/- per month for 1st year and Rs.2800/- per month for 2 year for Post no. 3
• Rs.2530/- per month for Post no. 8 & 9.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Fitter: 10^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Draughtsman (Civil): 10^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Mechanic (Diesel): 10^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Electrician: 10^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Programming and System Administration Assistant: 12^th passed and ITI certificate in the trade of Computer operator cum programming assistant.
• Wireman: 8^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Welder: 8^th passed and ITI Certificate in the respective trade.
• Technician (Electrical): Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Technician (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Age Limit:

• Candidate age should be below 28 years as on 10 September 2014 for all trades.
• Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

• Eligible candidates can apply through prescribed format.
• Application Form, duly complete in all respect along with Copies of required certificates (Educational, Technical qualification, Caste, proof of Date of Birth etc) duly attested by a Gazetted officer should be submitted to the Superintendent Engineer (Mech), Room No: 106, First Floor, P&C Building, Kandla Port Trust, New Kandla (Kutch), Pin-370210 on or before 15 August 2014.
• Candidate should mention ‘APPLICATION FOR APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
