There are two parts of the paper and four sections:
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- General Knowledge
- Quantitave Analysis
- Test Of Proficiency in English Language
Exact syllabus is never certain in entrance examinations but the topics covered as per the previous year question papers gives a fair idea.
Section 1: General Intelligence & Reasoning
Number Series, Letter Series, Analogies; Odd One Out; Coding and Decoding; Number Formation, Symbols and Notations; Blood Relations and Direction Sense; Analytical Puzzles; Logical Deductions; Non-Verbal Reasoning;Aptitude, Clocks and Calenders; Work and Time, Arrangements and Sequences, Figures.
Solving previous year Questions will surely help in understanding the types of questions in a better way.
Section 2: General Knowledge
General Knowledge is a section which needs regular and continous reading. Keeping in mind what topics need to be read and covered is very crucial aspect of preparation.

Section 3: Quantitave Analysis
Syllabus for this section is very vast. It broadly includes the following topics of mathematics :
Arithmetics: Number Systems, LCM and HCF, Percentages, Profit and Loss, Averages, Simple and Compound Interest, Work and Time, Ratios and Proportion
Algebra: Linear and Quadratic Equation, Sets and Functions, Venn Diagrams
Geometry: Geometrical shapes, Trigonometry, Heights and Distances, Mensuration
Section 4: Test Of Proficiency in English Language
English is a language which can`t be learnt overnight and even if one is confident about their performance in this section, revision is always required.
It includes Antonyms, Synonyms, Sentence Correction and completion, One word subsitution,Idioms, Grammar.
Keep the exam syllabus when you prepare for the examination and you will be able to prepare well in time for the examination.
