How to Become Government School Teacher
Eligibility Criteria for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff Post
Educational Qualification:
- PRT - Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent; CTET qualified.
- Data Entry Operator - B.Com at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects; Computer knowledge with Tally (ERP 9) OR PUC or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. OR Data entry operator course from any recognized institute with knowledge of Tally (ERP 9) OR Any degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
- Computer Instructor - BE/B.Tech (Comp. Sci), BCA/MCA/MSc in computer science/M.Sc. (IT)/M.Sc. or PGDCA & Master Degree in any science subject with Maths from Govt. recognized university/ O level / A level with 50% Marks in aggregate.
- PGT - two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; Or Master Degree from a recognized University two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; Or Master Degree from a recognized University.
- TGT - Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
- Educational Counsellor - M.A/M.Sc.(Psychology) from a recognized College or University + Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling OR MA/M.Sc./M.Com with B.Ed./ M.Ed. qualification+ Regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counseling.
- Teaching Regional Languages- B.A/B.Sc. 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate; Kannada as a subject in all the three years; B.Ed. or its equivalent degree from recognized university.
