Educational Qualification

Scientist E1

• Forest Botany- First class M.Sc in Botany; Ph.D in Systematics. Five years post doctoral experience in taxonomy and ecology
• Forest Pathology- First class M.Sc in Botany / Mycology / Plant Pathology/ Agriculture/ Microbiology/Life Science/Biosciences; Ph.D in any one of the above subjects
• Genetics & Tree Breeding- First class M.Sc in Genetics and Tree Breeding / Botany / Forestry/Environmental Sciences; Ph.D in any one of the above subjects
• Remote Sensing- First class M.Sc in Biological Science; Ph.D in any branch of Biological Science with specialization in Remote Sensing; Five years post doctoral experiences
• Wildlife Biology- First class M.Sc in Zoology / Wildlife Biology / Ecology/ Forestry; Ph.D in any one of the above subjects

Scientist B

• Economics-  First class MA/M.Sc in forestry /Economics/Environmental Economics; Ph.D in any of the above subjects
• Ecophysiology- First class M.Sc in Botany/ Forestry/ Environmental Science; Ph.D in any one of the above subjects
• Entomology- First class M.Sc in Zoology with specialization in entomology; Ph.D in above subjects
• Forest Biotechnology- First class M.Sc in Biotechnology/ any branch of life science; Ph.D in a field of Biotechnology
• Forest Ecology- First class M.Sc in Botany/ Forestry/Environmental Sciences; Ph.D in any one the above subjects
• Forest Entomology-  First class M.Sc in Zoology with specialization in Entomology
