Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professors Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Professors: A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) will be required at the Masters level for those recruited as teachers at any level from industries and research institutions and at the entry level of Assistant Professors, Assistant Librarians, Assistant Directors of Physical Education and Sports.
• Assistant Professor for Visual (Fine) Arts: Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/ Foreign University.
• Assistant Professor in Music & Dance: Good Academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/ Foreign University.
• Assistant Professor in the University Institute of Engineering & Technology(except in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics): First Class Master‟s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech.)
• Assistant Professor for MHM COURSE: MHM with first Division.
• Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences: A basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm.).First Class Masters Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.
• Assistant Professor for M.Tech Course in Geology Department: First Class Master‟s Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering (Engg.) & Technology (Tech.)-Applied Geology/Geology or equivalent.
