The changed exam format of CBSE Class 12 Biology is expected to have increased number of application-based questions asked in B and C sections, whereas the number of direct questions will be less and might be asked in sections A and E. Section C is supposed to have the complex part of the paper and carries maximum marks, 36.

No overall choice is given  in the question paper, however, an internal choice is provided in one question of  2 marks, one question of 3 narks and all the three questions of 5 marks. Moreover, in the changed exam pattern each 5 marks question is designed to have 3 or 4 short questions carrying 1 or 2 marks each. This way students not need to write the long descriptive answers rather they have to give an apt meaning to each short question saving their marks and time.

Biology is the an important subject of Class 12th with extremely vast syllabus. One needs to have a well planned study schedule to score good marks in this subject. Time management is also very important when it comes to complete the whole theory based exam paper within the stipulated three hours duration. Additional 15 minutes question paper reading time must be utilised well.

Three hours time should be divided properly into 5 sections with each section given enough time to complete it. We have an example to show you how you can manage your time to complete the five sections. For example: give 10 minutes to section A, 20 minutes to section B, 60 minutes for C, 15 minutes for D and 60 minutes for last section E. Spaer out last 15 minutes to revise your paper at last.
