Eligibility Criteria for Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Professor: candidate should have completed PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. candidate should have minimum  of  10  years  of  teaching  experience  in  university/college,  and/or  experience  in research  at  the  University/National  level  institutions/industries.

Professor:  Education (Principal, College of Teacher Education-CTEs): candidate should have completed Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities /Science /Commerce and M.Ed. / M.A. (Education) each with a minimum of 55% marks and PhD in Education. candidate should have minimum of 10  years  of  teaching  experience  in  university/college,  and/or  experience  in research  at  the  University/National  level  institutions/industries.

Associate Professor: candidate should have completed PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and a Master’s Degree in with minimum 55% in relevant subject and should have published work of high quality with a minimum of 05 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. Candidate should have minimum of 08 years of teaching/Research experience in at the University/National level institutions/industries.

Associate Professor (Polytechnic): candidate should have Degree/PG in Concerned/relevant Discipline of engineering /Technology with minimum 10 years relevant experience in Teaching/research/Industry.

Librarian: candidate should have Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/documentation with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B with minimum 13 years experience as Deputy Librarian.

Director: candidate should have completed PhD in Physical Education with ten years as University Deputy Director of Physical Education or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs / College (Selection grade). Candidate should have participated in minimum 02 National/International Seminars.

Deputy Director (Physical Education): candidate should have completed PhD in Physical Education with 08 years as University Assistant DPEs / College (Selection grade). Candidate should have participated in minimum 02 National/International Seminars.

Assistant Director (Physical Education): candidate should have Master’s  Degree  in  Physical  Education  or  Master’s Degree  in  Sports  Science with  at least 55% marks and Should have represented university/ college  at  the  inter-university / inter collegiate competitions or the State and/or national championships.

Assistant Regional Director: candidate should have Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’s Degree in Sports Science with minimum 55% marks and should have qualified NET conducted by UGC/CSIR.
