Goa University has invited applications from various candidates to apply for its MBA Programmes for the academic session 2016 – 17. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply through proper channel latest by 30 April, 2016.
Goa University, established in June 1985 by an Act of Goa Government, is located on a picturesque campus spread over 427.49 acres area of Taleigao plateau overlooking the Zuari Estuary, within close vicinity of the capital city of Panaji, in North Goa.
Today Goa University is a university of affiliated colleges, 55 of which are distributed across Goa, 30 in general education, 25 in professional education, with total enrolment of about 28,000. Most of these are enrolled in undergraduate programmes and the main campus which is primarily for post-graduate and doctoral students has an enrolment of about 2,000. Interestingly, a large majority of students enrolled in the various programmes are women. Presently, Goa University has 12 faculties of which 6 faculties operate on the campus with 24 Departments and 3 Research Centers that offer post-graduate education in the State of Goa.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MBA Programmes
Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply.
Selection procedure for Goa University MBA Programmes
Successfully registered candidate is required to undertake an Entrance Exam comprising of Multiple Choice Question. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured in this entrance test.
How to apply for Goa University MBA Programmes
Eligible candidates can registered themself on the official website of Goa University (www.unigoa.ac.in) within specified time and need to pay Rs.1000/ through proper channel as a fee of registration.
Ways of payment of Registration Fees
There are 2 ways of making the payment;
1. Cash payment at HDFC bank branches:
Generate & print the bank challan of HDFC and make necessary payments at any HDFC branch. Cash payment status will be updated after 48 hours.
2. Credit Card / Debit Card / Online Banking:
Choose the payment mode as Credit Card / Debit Card / Online Banking and make the payment using one of these 3 options and ensure that you get a success message for the transaction. In this case there is no upload of any payment proof required.
In case the Application fee is paid through credit / debit cards, the candidate will need to pay an additional processing charge as following:
1. Credit Card: 1.00% of the application fee plus the service tax as applicable.
2. Debit Card: 0.75% + taxes for application fee up to Rs. 2000 and 1.00% + taxes for application fee more than Rs. 2000.
3. NET Banking: Rs. 10.00 per transaction.
4. Cash Payment with Bank Challan: Rs.20.00.
Application fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
Goa University MBA Programmes Entrance Examination Pattern
Goa University MBA Programmes Entrance Examination will be an objective type in nature. There would be a total of 100 objective type questions. Multiple choices for these questions will be available and candidates are required to choose the right answer. Each question would carry 1 mark. There is no negative marking.
Questions in this entrance test will be asked from four major sections;
1. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation – 25 questions
2. Logical Reasoning – 25 questions
3. Language Comprehension – 25 questions
4. General Awareness – 25 questions
