The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI) University has many management cousrses which are being run since its inception. In the same league, they have launched a 2 year MBA Programme in Urban Management.
Rajiv Seth, registrar and professor of fianace said that the course has been started to fulfill the demand for organized urban development.There is a growing need of skilled professionals in this field.Rapid urbanisation in the country has triggered the need for such courses.
The programme will be taught by faculties from the university, professionals from TERI and many other research and consultancy based corporations from public and private sectors which makes it a great combination.
Subjects taught over four semesters will be:
- Managerial Economics
- Urban Policies
- Urban Legislation
- Municipal Accounting
- Financial Management
- Project Development
- Management and Financing
- SEZ and Township Development
Students will also undertake an eight-week summer internship and research project.University also has a placement cell which will assist studemts both, in projects and final placements.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor`s degree with minimum 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA and English as a subject at least till the 10+ 2 level.Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor`s degree or awaiting can also apply.
Selection Criteria:
Candiadtes will be shortlisted on the basis of GMAT/CAT/MAT scores and mark obtained in the qualifying degree.
Selection will be on the basis of group discussions and interviews conducted by Delhi University.
