Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, announces admission to its Executive Post Graduate Program - National Management Program (NMP) and to Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP-EM) for the academic session starting April 2014. Interested candidates can apply online or offline till the prescribed last dates.
1. Name of the Program: Executive Post Graduate Program - National Management Program (NMP)
Duration of the Program: 15-month Post Graduate program
About the NMP Program: NMP, accredited by AMBA - the Association of MBAs (UK)is recognized by AICTE as a Post Graduate Program in Management.
2. Name of the Program: Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP-EM)
Duration of the Program: 15 months -- 12 months stay at MDI campus + 3 months in-company dissertation.

• Minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in class 10 and 12.
• Minimum 3 year’s Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of post qualification executive work experience.
Candidate should be a Class I officer belonging to any Central or State Services, OR a Class I officer in a PSU, including banks / financial institutions, OR an officer in a private sector corporation shouldering adequate management responsibilities.
Admission and Selection Procedure:
For Sponsored Candidates: The candidates should forward their applications through concerned organization. They will be required to take the MDI Admission Test to be held on 8 December 2013 at various examination centers. The tests will be followed by personal interviews.
For Self-Sponsored Candidates: Candidates should appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT-2013) to be conducted by the IIMs from 16 October 2013 till 11 November 2013.
The MDI application forms along with Information Brochure can be obtained by paying Rs. 1800 in cash at MDI, Gurgaon and other designated counters till 15 October 2013.
Candidates should send their duly filled in MDI Application Forms to ‘The Chairperson (Admissions), Admissions Office, Management Development Institute, Mehrauli Road, Sukhrali, Gurgaon-122007, INDIA’ so as to reach the MDI Campus on or before the prescribed last date.
Candidates can also register online by through MDI website till 15 October 2013 (1700 hours).
On successful submission of the Online Application form, candidates should take a print-out of the form deposit Receipt & send it along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1800 drawn in favour of ‘Management Development Institute’, payable at New Delhi.
Candidate should mention their Name, Program applied for, Mobile / Landline number, Address and CAT Registration Number on the back of the Demand Draft.
Alternatively, fees can also be paid online using Credit / Debit card. Candidates depositing fees using Credit / Debit card should attach fee-deposit receipt instead of fee DD with the Form deposit Receipt and send it to the MDI Campus at the address given above so as to reach there on or before the prescribed last date.
NOTE: Applicants can apply for both NMP and PGP-EM programs using a single application form by marking their preference for the programs in the application form.
Candidates would be short listed for the Interview to be held on 9 February 2014 (tentative) on the basis of their CAT scores. They will be interviewed at one of these 3 centers -- Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and Mumbai (centers other than Gurgaon are tentative).
For Foreign / NRI / PIO Applicants: Foreign / NRI / PIO candidates will be considered for admission on the basis of their valid GMAT scores (taken not later than 30 November 2013).
These candidates can obtain the application form by furnishing a crossed Demand Draft for USD100 or paying Rs. 6000 in cash at MDI / concerned designated center. The filled in application form along with attested copy of valid GMAT score card should reach MDI campus at the given address on or before 31 December 2013.
The candidates can also apply online through MDI website and send a print-out of the form deposit Receipt along with Demand Draft for USD100 / Rs. 6000 / fee-deposit receipt (for those making the payment online) and valid GMAT score card (attested copy) to MDI so as to reach the MDI campus at the given address, on or before 31 December 2013.
Candidates short listed on the basis of their GMAT score will be interviewed by MDI. Candidates have to register for MDI Program at the GMAT website at the time of taking GMAT examination.
Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection in second week of February 2014 and they will be required to pay the first installment of fees by 4th week of February 2014 failing which the offer for admission will be considered withdrawn.
