MESCOM Notified Recruitment for 301 Assistant Lineman Post 2014

Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited invited applications for Assistant Lineman Post from the qualified eligible candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade and from the candidates who have passed 10th STD and three years pass certificate of “Lineman trade /Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted from the Industrial Training Institute of KEB/KPTCL. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 12 January 2015.

• Assistant Lineman (Post 1) - Eligible candidates possessing a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in “Electrician/Electronics/Electronic Mechanic” trade.
• Assistant Lineman (Post 2)- Eligible candidates who have passed 10th STD and three years pass certificate of “Lineman trade /Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted from the Industrial Training Institute of KEB/KPTCL.

Pay Scale:

• Assistant Lineman (Post 1) - Pay scale of ` 7950-150-8100-190-9050-240-10250-300-11750-360-16790.
• Assistant Lineman (Post 2)- Pay scale of ` 7950-150-8100-190-9050-240-10250-300-11750-360-16790.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants belonging to General Merit category should have scored 60% marks in respective qualifying examinations.
• Applicants belonging to category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB should have scored 50% marks in respective qualifying examinations.
• Applicants belonging to SC/ST/and category I should be Passs in respective qualifying examinations.

Age Limit:

• 35 years in case of General Merit candidates.
• 38 years in case of Category IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB candidates.
• 40 years in case of SC/ ST and Category I candidates.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the organization.
