MPPSC State Services 2013: Syllabus and Plan of Examination

    Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has issued the Syllabus and Plan of the State Civil Services Examination 2013. MPPSC notified for State Civil Services Examination 2013 that is scheduled to be held on 29 June 2014. The eligible candidates will be selected on evaluating their performance in the Preliminary Examination and Main Examination.

    The combined competitive examination consists of two successive stages i.e.

    • State Services Preliminary Examination (Objective types) for selection of candidates for Main Examination, and
    • State Services Main Examination (written and interview) for selection of candidates for the various categories of services and posts.

    The preliminary examination will comprise two objective type papers (multiple choice questions). Each paper will be formed in conformity with the provided scheme.

    Paper I

    General Studies

    2 hrs

    200 Marks

    Paper II

    General Aptitude Test

    2 hrs

    200 Marks

    Preliminary Examination is meant to be used as a screening test only. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for Main (Written) Examination on the basis of marks obtained in this examination. Final selection list will be developed on the basis of marks obtained in Main (Written) Examination and Interview. Main Examination will consist of a written examination and an interview test.
