Municipal Service Commission Notified Recruitment for 23 Various Posts 2015

Municipal Service Commission, under Kolkata Municipal Corporation invited applications for 23 Staff Nurse, Assistant Engineer, Sub-Assistant Engineer and School Inspector (Bengali Medium) Posts. Pay Scale:

• Staff Nurse - PB-3 Rs.7100/-Rs.  37600/- + Grade Pay Rs.3200/-
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) - PB-4A Rs.15600- Rs. 42000/- G.P. 5 400/-
• Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil)- PB-4 Rs.9000- Rs. 40500/- G.P. – 4400/-
• School Inspector (Bengali Medium)- PB-3 Rs.7100- Rs. 37600/- + Grade Pay Rs.4100/-

Eligibility Criteria:  

• Staff Nurse - Qualification in general nursing and Midwifery from Nursing Council of West Bengal or its equivalent.
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) - A degree in Civil Engineering of a recognized University or its equivalent
• Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil)-

1. A Diploma in Civil Engineering from the State Council for Engineering or Technical Education or its equivalent.
2. One year’s practical Training or studying or research or practical engineering experience in the Municipal Engineering work.
3. Second Class Honours or Second Class Masters’ Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent and minimum 55% marks in Madhyamik and 50% marks in Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized Board/Council.
4. A Bachelors’ Degree in Teaching of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized University or equivalent (N.C.T.E. approved).
5. Good knowledge of Bengali spoken and written.
6. Ability to undertake extensive tour on official duty.

Selection Procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the interview/exam conducted by the commission.
