Eligibility Criteria for Research Associate and Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

 Post Graduate Degree M.Tech / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Sc in Geophysics / Geology / Environmental Science with GIS knowledge / Remote Sensing with GIS knowledge / Geoinformatics / Civil Engineering with geotechnical expertise / Physics with minimum 60% marks at the qualifying degree level and expertise in seismology field / Mathematics with expertise in seismology field from a recognized university /Institute

Experience:

• Research Associate - Exposure in the field surveys on basic / applied aspects of seismology / geotechnical / geo - environmental fields. One or two research associates would be hired who have more than 20 years of field experience in data collections
• Consultant - Minimum 20 years of experience in field investigations of geophysical and geotechnical studies, sample analysis and laboratory studies / and processing / interpretation of processed data / preparation of technical reports related to seismology / seismic microzonation
• Advisor - Over 25 years of experience in field and laboratory tests or investigations / teaching and Research supervisions related to data analysis and data compilation / field design / planning / evaluation of Scientific / engineering project reports having skill of writing standard scientific reports
• Project Scientist  'B' - At least 1 year of experience in scientific data collection, data processing / GIS - expertise of preparing maps / report writing evident from the publication of research papers on geo -scientific societal issues in the journal of repute
• Project Scientist 'C' - At least 3 years of experience in different aspects of Microzonation, data collection, interpretation and field investigation
