National Power Training Institute Bangalore Notified Admission to PG Diploma Course 2014

National Power Training Institute (NPTI) invited application for Post-Graduate Diploma in Sub-Transmission and Distribution Systems. Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed format before 11 August 2014.

This is a graduate engineer program for those who desire to make a career in the power sector. Upon successfully undergoing this course the graduate engineers will find immense opportunities and preference in employment with various power companies.

Programme Detail

Name of the Course: Post-Graduate Diploma in Sub-Transmission and Distribution Systems.

Course Duration: 52 weeks

Course venue: Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI), a unit of NPTI at Bangalore.

No. Of Seats: 60 (sixty only). 25% seats are reserved for sponsored category. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and PH will be as per govt. Norms in the non-sponsored category.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in “Electrical” or “Electrical & Electronics” or “Power Engineering”.

Age Limit: No age limit.

Selection Criteria For Admission: Percentage of marks obtained in the B.E. or equivalent examination as per university norms.

Fees:

• Rs. 2, 10,000 + ST @ 12.36% for non-sponsored candidates
• Rs. 3, 25,000/- + ST @ 12.36% for sponsored candidates

Note: Sponsored candidates: the candidates sponsored by employers if fulfilling eligibility requirement, will be admitted directly.
