My mother has to get up early. She gets up at 4:30 AM. She prepares breakfast and packs lunch for me, my sister and my father. She also gets us ready for school.

Answer.

(a) Babuji sells the previous day’s vegetables first because these vegetables may get spoilt if kept for long time.

(b) Yes, I have seen dried or spoilt vegetables in the market and also at my home.

(c) I can find that vegetable are spoilt by their

  • Wrinkled appearance
  • Foul smell
  • Changed colour due to growth of fungus

(d) Chotu would have learnt the value of hard work and money in life. He would also have understood the trick of selling the old vegetables first and then selling the fresh vegetables.

(e) I help my mother in kitchen and in cleaning our home.

At 3 O’clock in the morning:

  • Vaishali takes out vegetables.
  • I sleep at that time.

At 6 O’clock in the morning:

  • I go to the bed to take sleep.

(i) His name is Raghu Nath.

(ii) There are sis people in his house. He himself, his wife, mother and three children.

(iii) Names and age of his children are:

Bhuwan (son) – 11 years old

Sumit (Son) – 6 years old

(iv) His wife and mother help him in the work of selling vegetables

(v) His son Bhuwan stays with the vegetable cart.
