NCRA Notified Recruitment for 9 various posts 2014

The National Centre for Radio Astrophysics, Pune [NCRA] invited applications for recruitment to the post of Project Engineers, Scientific Assistant (Library), Laboratory Assistant, Project Technical Assistants and Project Tradesmen. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format on or before 15 February 2014. NCRA of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research [TIFR] is an autonomous institute under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government of India and an internationally reputed research institute.

Age Limit

• Candidate age should not exceed 32 years for post no. 1.
• Candidate age should not exceed 33 years for post no. 2.
• Candidate age should not exceed 31 years for post no. 3 & 4.
• Candidate age should not exceed 28 years for post no. 5, 6 & 7.

Educational Qualification

• Project Engineer-C: BE or B.Tech in electronics with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University.
• Project Engineer-C (Computers): BE or B.Tech in Computers or IT or allied fields of engineering with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institute.
• Scientific Assistant-B (Library): B.Sc, Graduate in Library Science with minimum 60% marks and should be conversant with using of personal computers and running applications on it.
• Laboratory Assistant-B (Electronics): S.S.C. or equivalent and ITI in Electronics with minimum 60% marks.
• Project Technical Assistant-B (Electronics): SSC/HSC, Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) with minimum 60% marks and Knowledge of use of personal computers and its applications.
• Project Tradesman-B (Mech): S.S.C. OR Equivalent and ITI (Fitter) with minimum 60% marks.
• Project Tradesman-B (Mech): S.S.C. OR Equivalent and ITI (Fitter) with minimum 60% marks.

Pay Scale

• Project Engineer-C: 39,000 Consolidated + 3700 HRA
• Project Engineer-C (Computers): 39,000 Consolidated + 3700 HRA
• Scientific Assistant-B (Library):  9300-34800 + GP: 4200
• Laboratory Assistant-B (Electronics): 5200-20200 + GP: 2000
• Project Technical Assistant-B (Electronics): 23,000 Consolidated + 1,200 HRA
• Project Tradesman-B (Mech): 14,500 consolidated + 1,500 HRA]
• Project Tradesman-B (Mech): 14,000 consolidated + 700 HRA
